My name is Samuel Hershberger. I’m the guy smiling off to the left with the patchy beard. I’m also the owner of this site.
I publish most of my writing over on Facebook, but occasionally I’ll post something here. I enjoy sending notes to my email list, so if you enjoy what actually is written here, sign up off to the left. Some people say that my writing pushes them to live in a more inspired way. Others… well, they aren’t so kind.
Professionally, I’m a life coach for extraordinary people. I only work with people who inspire me. Why? I believe Life is a gift, and coaching presents me a unique opportunity to experience it as such. In the space of coaching miracles happen. I’ve witnessed (and experienced) them.

Outside of the work I do with my 1-on-1 coaching clients, I create experiences that inspire me. Here’s a look into what I’m creating currently.
On August 7th, 2014, five men joined me for the first round of Master Your Existence (MYE) — a 3.5 day retreat in the mountains of Palomar, CA.
This video serves a few purposes. First and foremost, it’s an invitation to a group of men who will join me for MYE Round 2, December 10-14, 2014 on the beaches of San Diego, CA. Second, it’s an opportunity for these men who will join me to see, hear, and feel the experience the first group of men had at Round 1.
Why? As a friend of mine says, it’s important to pay it forward with experiences. It’s nearly impossible for me to describe the work I do. The words don’t complete the picture. Two ways I can help you to understand is (1) – by showing you, and (2) – by sharing stories of past clients.
I have a great deal of gratitude for the 5 men who participated in Round 1. They showed up. They played full out. And they bared their souls.
That’s what this retreat is about.
Men… I want you to watch the video. I want you to listen to the words we’re speaking, but most importantly, I want you to hear past the words. I want you to hear who we’re BEING. I want you to hear the TRUTH we stand upon. Its far more important than the content of our speech.
I’ve designed these retreats to allow you to step into a space of BEING and CREATION… REINVENTION… *not* into the systems, techniques, and strategies.
As I say in the video, I’m here to help you find answers… YOUR answers.
Women… I want YOU to watch the video as well. Just as I asked the men to do, I ask you to do as well. Listen and hear who we’re BEING… not the content of what we’re saying. Hear the truth that we stand upon. And if it resonates with you, I ask you to share it with a man you love. Brother. Father. Son. Uncle. Friend. Boyfriend. Husband.

Give him the opportunity and possibility of saying YES… HELL YES… to himself. That’s what this retreat is for. That’s why I’ve created created this space for 10 men to be CREATORS of their lives… not victims. I created this retreat for men to make a bigger COMMITMENT to their lives than ever before. Commitment is not a prison cell. It’s FREEDOM.
It may be cliche to say this, but this retreat won’t be for every man who watches it. It simply won’t resonate with that many people.
But I believe it will resonate with the men who are looking to be here.
And men… maybe that’s you.
Women… maybe you know one of those men.
